Designs

The  unique qualities of every home and garden, and the lifestyle and interests of its owner(s) are central to all our design work. Whilst your initial thoughts and requirements can be discussed by phone, our design work really starts with a preliminary on-site visit. During this visit (which will normally last two or three hours) we will profile the garden, grounds and any buildings, discuss with you how they are used today and may be used in the future, and the date by which you are looking to complete installation. Having also assessed your lifestyle, we can then create an outline description of your requirements . This initial on-site visit is free of charge.

Once we are contracted to produce designs, we will carry out a full site survey during which we will take site measurements, and discuss with you specific lighting options, techniques and effects, and your requirements for switching the lighting systems on and off. We will also check power sources and identify options for safe cable routing. If you are in the process of having your garden landscaped we will be happy to meet with your landscaping contractor to ensure that all designs (and later installation work) are drawn up with the landscaping work in mind.

Getting the design right for you is of utmost importance to us. To achieve this we prefer to discuss the proposed designs and options with you directly to ensure that you will be completely satisfied with the final result.

Once the final design has been agreed with you, we will provide you will a full estimate of cost and an installation schedule.
